On June 21, 2007 at 6 p.m., which is also National Aboriginal Day, we signed cookbooks and answer questions at Chapters Indigo Books and Music Store located in the Park Royal Shopping Mall in West Vancouver.

On June 27, 2007 at 10 p.m. PST we were interview with the Native America Calling - Native Voice One - NV1 - for the Book of the Month show. There were 10 lucky callers that won a free cookbook!! The show was a live broadcast from Albuquerque, New Mexico.

We were invited to do a cookbook demonstration and signing at Barbara Jo's Books to Cooks in Vancouver, BC on November 3, 2007 for Slow Foods Canada, Vancouver Chapter.Slow Food Canada was founded by Carlo Petrini in 1986, and became an international association in 1989. It now boasts 85,000 members, offices (in order of creation) in Italy, Germany, Switzerland, USA, France, Japan and the United Kingdom and supporters in 130 countries.

We have been going to the Farmers Market at the Harbour Quay in Port Alberni every Saturday from 9 am to 12 noon to sell our cookbooks and Just Like Grandmas bannock. Annie will also selling baked goods that are gluten- and dairy-free, using recipes from her new cookbook, soon to be published, Healthy Eating Cookbook.

On Wednesday, February 10, 2010 we were invited to participate by showcasing our cookbook at the BC Showcase in Robson Square. We met the Minister of Agriculture at this event.
